'A-Class' Range:Our standard unit packs flat and weighs 3200kg. The pack height allows 4 units to be stacked together and when combined they exactly equal the equivalent of one shipping container in height or 2591mm. This means that each unit costs 25% of the normal sea freight of one container to your nearest main port.
A saving of 75% for each unit. It also represents a similar saving in road freight costs as the combined weight of approximately 13000kg is half the normal maximum carrying capacity of a standard container.
We recommend concrete footings at each corner. Each corner has a standard container corner block. We will provide 4 container twist locks with reinforcing affixed to the underside to be cast into the concrete footings. The container base is then simply placed on the twist locks and the twist locks are then activated thus providing the restraint needed.
The unit also needs support at the midpoint of each longer side. Depending on the type of surface the unit is sitting on this could be another concrete block or simply some adequate packing of a non-degradable nature.
Note: The units can be placed on the footings and assembled as per instructions or may be put together off site and placed on the footings as a complete unit. As the base weighs approximately 900kg and the roof panel weighs approximately 700kg you will need the use of a forklift or some similar means of assisting in assembling the units. Time to erect each unit should be less than two hours - though fitting out and finishing off will depend on selected inclusions and associated works
